It offers a "triple check" for US currency: testing the paper, checking the watermark and the security strip. It can also check many foreign currencies such as the Canadian dollar, Euro, Peso, and the Yen. Additionally, it can authenticate resident alien and green cards, money orders, passports, credit cards and even drivers licenses from many states. It is cordless and lightweight so it can be set up anywhere and is easy to use so training time is limited. The iDetector uses 3 AAA batteries (not included) and comes with a complete set of instructions.
